Where I am. What the day looked like. What the money said. Time and place, nothing invented. One entry a week.
Coffee shop, stray dog sitting under the table the whole time. Didn’t bother me, didn’t ask for anything. Just existed. Worked for three hours like that.
$847 from a sponsor who signed two weeks ago.
Airbnb kitchen at 9am, range hood making this staticky hum that I kept thinking was going to stop but didn’t. Made coffee, worked through it.
$2,134 from a channel I set up in 2022 and basically forgot about.
Three-hour layover. Worst airport sandwich I’ve ever had, the bread was somehow both stale and wet. Kid across from me watching YouTube at full volume, no headphones. Worked anyway.
$417 hit while I was in the air.
Balcony, Tuesday morning, no plan. Had my coffee. Sat there for probably 20 minutes before opening the laptop. Looked at the street. Some guy was washing his car with a garden hose and a t-shirt.
$631, then $1,200, then $89. Three different channels, three different pockets.
Hotel, snowing outside in April which I didn’t see coming. The kettle in the room was broken — just made a clicking sound and sat there. Used the hotel lobby coffee instead. Worked from the lobby for two hours with people walking past.
$3,847 across four channels. Best Wednesday in a while.
Coffee shop, barista asked what I did for work. Said “internet stuff.” She nodded like that explained everything. It basically does.
$24,637 — the first day I crossed $20K. Didn’t really feel like anything.
Airbnb couch, soccer match on tv in the other room, neighbor’s dog barking at something in the street. Balloon floating past the window at some point, which I noticed and then forgot about immediately.
$1,847.
11:14am. The espresso was bad but the breeze was perfect. Same stray dog as always, sleeping under a different chair today.
$631 from a channel I haven’t touched in four months.
